Kappa Sigma has an annual End of the Year Banquet to celebrate all of the accomplishments throughout the year and to represent those accomplishments, I made a recap video in collaboration with another Kappa Sigma member, Kevin Chen.
This video is meant was made with the audience of the banquet in mind. So, the recap starts by highlighting the fraternity’s involvement with sororities, which are important collaborators in our events and special guests at the banquet. By having this section, the banquet has a more inclusive feeling and welcomes our guests to celebrate with the fraternity. I follow up the section with interviews of some of the graduating seniors reflecting on their experience paired with clips from our events throughout the year. This section is meant to give the audience the perspective of Kappa Sigma members while also allowing graduating seniors to leave their mark in the fraternity. Just as the intro, this would allow guests to relate with the accomplishments that members are celebrating.
The video received amazing positive feedback from members, friends and family of members, and Kappa Sigma national headquarters. Receiving over 3,000 views in just a few days, it’s also my most viewed video.
